Mary’s own health and wellness journey began in 1986 when she attended a yoga class with a friend, in the hopes it would help with her then-chronic shoulder pain. She found that yoga was a perfect fit — alleviating not only her shoulder pain but enhancing her resiliency to everyday stress as well.
Mary is now a professional level Kripalu yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga for over 22 years. She is also a New York State licensed massage therapist, with extensive training in myofascial release and craniosacral therapy. Mary maintains a private practice in Albany, specializing in myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, thai foot massage, hot stone massage, and oncology massage. She offers Gentle and Yin yoga classes in the Albany area, and is known for her soothing and meditative teaching style.
“I believe true healing springs from a place of compassion and self-acceptance, and aspire to offer this space for my clients.”
